My journey with art goes far beyond creating beautiful paintings. For me, art is a powerful tool for healing, connection, self-discovery, and spiritual awakening.
Welcome to Sheetal Fine Arts. I am Sheetal Ravi, a portrait artist, mixed media artist, and art instructor based in Ontario, Canada. Through my artwork, I strive to create meaningful visual experiences that inspire self-love, emotional healing, and a deeper connection with the inner self.
From a young age, I was drawn to colors, textures, and creative expression. Over time, painting became more than a creative outlet. It became a practice of mindfulness, reflection, and transformation. Today, I share that same passion through original artwork, custom portrait commissions, and art workshops designed to help others discover the joy of artistic expression.
My Artistic Style
My art is deeply rooted in expressionism, where every brushstroke captures emotion, intuition, and personal meaning. I primarily work with mixed media, combining acrylics, oils, inks, textures, and metallic elements such as gold foil to create rich, layered works of art.
Many of my paintings explore themes such as:

- Cosmic and celestial inspiration

Color plays an important role in my creative process. Every color choice is intentionally selected to evoke specific feelings, energies, and experiences. I believe art has the power to uplift, inspire, and connect us to something greater than ourselves.
Portrait Paintings and Commissions
One of my greatest joys as an artist is creating custom portrait paintings that capture the essence of a person, family, or cherished memory.
Whether it is a family portrait, a memorial portrait, a pet portrait, or a meaningful life moment, I approach every commission with care, sensitivity, and attention to detail.
My goal is not simply to recreate a photograph but to tell a story through paint. Each portrait is designed to reflect the personality, emotion, and spirit of the subject, creating a piece of artwork that families can treasure for years to come.
I work with clients throughout Ontario and across Canada, creating custom portraits that become meaningful gifts and lasting heirlooms.
Art Workshops and Painting Classes
In addition to creating artwork, I am passionate about helping others develop their own creative voice.
Through Sheetal Fine Arts, I offer art workshops and painting classes for beginners and intermediate artists. These workshops are designed to provide a welcoming and supportive environment where creativity can flourish without pressure or judgment.

I regularly offer art workshops in the Kitchener-Waterloo region and continue to expand opportunities for both in-person and online learning experiences.
Art Inspired by the Sacred and the Cosmic
Much of my recent work has been inspired by spiritual symbolism, celestial imagery, and the mysteries of the universe.
I am fascinated by galaxies, stars, cosmic landscapes, and the interconnectedness of all life. Through these works, I hope to evoke a sense of wonder, curiosity, and reflection.
My sacred art collections often explore themes of divine energy, higher consciousness, and personal transformation. These pieces invite viewers to slow down, reflect inwardly, and reconnect with their own inner wisdom.
